About Project

Through a Health & Safety requirement to have more Level 3 RQF Qualified First Aiders in the Workplace, Trisat was asked to bring a new level of delivery to the first aid training incorporating Catastrophic Bleeds. Trisat recognised that the 7/7 attacks on Tavistock square had a major impact to the front of house staff of the BMA, thus the training delivery had to increase the confidence of those that were becoming the first aiders.

  • EMPLOYEES TRAINED: 40+
  • TOPIC AREA: FAW with Catastrophic Bleeds
  • LEGAL REQUIREMENT: H&S

Conclusion

Both the members of the BMA & BMJ enjoyed the courses provided and appreciated the scenario pressure tests. The sense of urgency and commitment to treating casualties under pressure was commendable. From the training many have supervised stocking the floor first aid kits and also making sure AED’s are serviceable, which shows a true proactive approach to first aid within the organisations.

We are looking forward to delivering our Situational Awareness & Conflict Resolution to the front of house staff incorporating the RQF CiterzenAid course.
